More than half a million copies of the first generation Peugeot Partner were sold in Europe, making it the best-selling type in its class. All new Peugeot Partner models from the first generation after 2008 have therefore been given a new name: the Peugeot Partner Origin. Not a unique type, but just a model from the first generation that was sold between 2008 and 2009.
In 2008 it was time for the second generation of the Peugeot Partner. Again this model was offered as a van and ludospace, but the latter got black bumpers to make it look like an SUV and give it a tougher look. The new generation of the Peugeot Partner is on the platform on which the Citroën C4 and Peugeot 308 are also built.
The second generation was given the facelift in 2012, when the lamps were once again adapted. The second facelift of the Peugeot Partner of this generation took place in 2015, with the front of the Partner being made equal to the other Peugeot models that were in production at the time. A complete multimedia system was also added to the car.
In 2018, the new generation of the Partner was unveiled, which is no longer being carried out as a ludospace. This line is now called the Peugeot Rifter. At the same time, the new generation of the Citroën Berlingo was unveiled and the fifth generation of the Opel Combo (Opel was taken over by PSA in 2017).
Nearly 577,000 copies sold in Europe. That was the score for the Peugeot Partner in mid-2019. A very good result.
