The Renault Arkana once started as a crossover SUV in Russia, before coming to Europe as a new model via South Korea. It is one of Renault's models that immediately received a lot of attention during its release, partly because of its high standard at the model's (relatively) low price. The French decided to market the Renault Arkana in Russia in 2019, but this was more of a modified Renault or Dacia Duster than really a new model. The exclusive look of the new Renault Arkana is emphasised by the 14 different ADAS systems, the many features and the powerful, fuel-efficient engine developed in collaboration with Daimler. The electric motor was even developed with Renault's knowledge gained from Formula 1. The fact that a mild and full hybrid were immediately launched has undoubtedly contributed to the model's appeal.
At this spot, we would at the same time like to draw some attention to Renault's advertisements for the Arkana. Normally, car adverts are flashy, highlighting the model's exclusivity and numerous features. The Renault Arkana, while it does have these features, has always been marketed as a model with an attractive entry-level price.
