When the Dacia Logan was launched as the successor to the Dacia 1310 and Dacia Solenza, the automaker probably never expected the model to be sold more than 4 million times worldwide. The cooperation between Dacia and Renault clearly paid off in developing and producing this car. Even in the Netherlands, it became a sales success. The Dacia Logan is a car model with a background. Renault had recently acquired Dacia and CEO Louis Schweitzer saw that the mediocre Lada models sold much better than the Renaults, which were twice as expensive. His idea was to market a cheap car without compromising on safety or standard in terms of modern technology. This was the idea from which the Logan would be born in 2004. Funny fact is that the Logan was never intended for the Western European market. On the contrary, that would remain the territory of the luxury Renault. In hindsight, the market turned out to have enough demand for both car brands.
In 2008, the first generation received a facelift where more attention was paid to the car's comfort and interior to bring it up to a more modern standard. In 2012, it was decided to build on the success of the model by launching the second generation. For the second generation, much was borrowed from the Dacia Sandero, such as the complete design of the front and rear of the car. In addition, the second generation got significantly better engines and more features were incorporated into the models, such as Start&Stop, navigation software, parking sensors and significantly more chrome.
The second generation received a facelift in 2016, in which the front and rear were tweaked again and Dacia started using LED lights for the first time. Perhaps the most notable modification was the switch to a four-spoke steering wheel.
Then, in 2020, the third generation arrived on the market at the same time as the Sandero generation three. Completely different, the new generation would be built on the CMF-B (LS) platform and received new engines to meet increasingly stringent environmental requirements.
The idea of 'lots of car for little money' was also initially carried through in the marketing. The video below shows that this is the ideal family car for an average family where the wardrobe is shared by all family members.
However, the Logan soon worked its way up to much more than a family car, which was mainly due to the addition of the different equipment levels, a full-sized MCV (considerably longer) and even a low-cost pick-up.
The Dacia Logan is firmly in the top 3 in terms of sales figures in the Netherlands, between the Dacia Sandero and the Dacia Duster. The model was sold more than 20,000 times in the Netherlands, in line with its international sales success. In total, more than 4 million units have been made and sold, and this number will only increase further as the third generation of the Logan is still in production at the time of writing.

This is because a damaged window can crack further, especially if there are large temperature differences on either side of the glass (such as when driving with the heater full on the windscreen during a cold winter day).

Whereas your brand dealer sells automotive glass with a brand logo and thus an exclusive character, we only offer after-market automotive glass without a brand logo.
