The Alfa Romeo Junior is the direct successor to the Alfa Romeo MiTo and the Alfa Romeo Giulietta. The model is packed with features such as 360-degree parking sensors, optional sports seats, virtual voice assistant and 180-degree reversing camera. The Alfa Romeo Junior is marketed as an all-electric car and a plug-in hybrid. The electric models feature a 54 kWh battery pack that offers around 400 kilometres of all-electric range. The battery is charged fastest at 11 kW (16A on 3 phases) and the connection to the car is a type 2 (Mennekes) connection, the standard connection for electric cars offered on the European market.
At the time of writing, the Alfa Romeo Junior is still a relatively new model, yet we can say that the model has already become a success for Alfa Romeo. By mid-2025, more than 36,000 models had already been ordered worldwide, already exceeding the Italian carmaker's expectations. This is reflected in the Dutch market, where more than 600 units are currently registered.
